Generic name: Unlimited data plan.

Ethical concerns?

Lying to customers about unlimited data. Many “unlimited data” plans result in throttled data when you reach a certain threshold, or a cap on other services.

There is an app to check whether your data is really unlimited.

Alternative brands:

They all seem to have this issue. It’s not in a service provider’s best interests to offer truly unlimited data.

Are there store brands?

No big chain stores offer their own phone or data service.
